The
Original Dynamic Feed
The PF Mechanical Feed was the first press feed manufactured and
marketed by Dynamic Feeds over 25 years ago. Today, it is still
considered one of the best mechanical feeds on the market because of
it's simple design and trouble-free service.
Extremely
Durable and Versatile
The main frame of the Mechanical Feed is made from high-strength
cast aluminum and can be mounted to virtually any kind of press. It
is totally powered by the press which means it has few wear parts
and requires no additional energy source.

High Speed
Applications
Designed primarily
for high speed applications, the computer-controlled DX/EV
offers continuous speed and accuracy up to 800 strokes-per-minute.
Material is fed through rolls made of hardened steel with
permanently sealed and lubricated bearings. This reduces maintenance
problems caused by dust and dirt contamination.
The resolver-based, AC brushless servo motor is mounted to the
underside of the feed making
it compact and easy to mount to the front, back or either side of a
press.

The DX ServoFeed is a powerful feeding system that combines the
strongest attributes of three proven technologies:
The Dynamic Feed
Gripping System
•A
rotating linear ball screw system
•An
AC brushless servo drive motor
This powerful combination enables the Dynamic ServoFeed to deliver
up to three times the pulling force of any comparable size servo
feed and provide more torque and gripping power than conventional
roll type servo feeds. Low inertia and optimum gear ratio is
inherent through the mechanical advantage of the linear ball screw
which allows the ServoFeed to operate at high speeds without the use
of gears, pulleys, belts or chains.

Compact
and Versatile
A unique concept in high speed, zig-zag roll feeding, the DXY/EV
allows parts to be
fed in a staggered pattern for optimum
material yield. Material is fed in a simultaneous X-Y
movement allowing incoming material to travel at high speeds through
the rolls on the X-axis. At the same time, the Y-axis movement is
controlled by a rotating linear ball screw which maximizes speed and
provides high torque and low inertia.
Like the standard single-axis DX/EV Roll Feed, the Zig-Zag feed is
compact and can be easily mounted to any side of a press. The roll
feed is driven by an AC servo motor while the Y axis movement of the
feed is powered by a combination AC motor and linear ball screw. The
DXY/EV can be programmed to feed material in a single or dual axis
format. It can also be used to push or pull material through the
die.

High-Torque
Power
The DXY Zig-Zag ServoFeed offers dramatic advantages in stagger
feeding as compared to other zig-zag feeds which tend to be
mechanically complex and difficult to operate and maintain. The model
DXY is completely automated using proprietary software interface
techniques to calculate and set up all machine parameters quickly and
accurately.
The X-Y movement allows parts to be nested in a staggered pattern for
optimum material yield and, unlike any other stagger feed on the
market, the DXY allows you to automatically calculate your best
pattern for optimum material yield in seconds
Designed for optimum performance, the model DXY utilizes the basic
mechanical advantages of the standard DX ServoFeed, set up in a
dual-axis format. A linear ball screw and an AC brushless servo motor
in each axis provides high torque and maximum pulling force. The
powerful Dynamic gripping system uses one-way rollers to grip material
on the forward stroke and hold it on the return stroke.
